DocuSign – Change Signing Responsibility
As a signer, you can opt to assign the signing responsibility to a different signer. If the envelope contains documents more appropriate to be signed by someone else, you can reassign the envelope to a different name and email address. Note: Depending on the settings the sender has enabled for your documents, this option might not be available.
To reassign signing responsibility
From the envelope, click OTHER ACTIONS.
Click Assign to Someone Else.
Enter the new signer’s email address, name, and reason for changing the signing responsibility.
When finished, click ASSIGN TO SOMEONE ELSE.
The envelope is reassigned and the sender and new signer receive a notification of the change.
