As part of the RMS EasyPlan structure, and in partnership with Access Retirement and MassMutual, we take on many of the fiduciary duties an employer would be responsible for in its own standalone plan.

Shared Responsibilty
While the employers remain responsible for things like the decision to join and remain in the PEP, uploading timely and accurate employee data, and remitting plan contributions, Alerus serves as a named fiduciary and Plan Administrator and takes responsibility for things like the day-to-day administration of the Plan and the related reporting and disclosure obligations.

Big Plan Experience
RMS EasyPlan offers flexible plan design, and investment funds from reputable fund providers as selected by MassMutual, allowing smaller employers to have the “big plan” experience.
