Who is eligible for an HSA?

The individual must be enrolled in a qualified, high deductible health plan. See minimum deductible limits here.

The individual cannot:

• Be claimed as a dependent on any other person’s tax return.
• Be receiving benefits under Medicare.
• Be covered by any other health plan that is not a high deductible health plan.
